Each showcase is carefully curated with our community in mind. With the help of past winners, we offer themes that are broad and inviting, as well as popular and enjoyable for our guests. Check out what each year has to offer.

Shimmer n’ Shine

Thursday, September 10 - Drag Bingo Kick Off Party at Anderson Distillery 

This is a non-competitive showcase and kickoff party at Anderson Distillery, with drag bingo to boot featuring drag entertainers! This is an open theme - bring your very best and to kick off the festival weekend.

Open Showcases will take place at Harvest House in Denton

Art Haus Horror EARLY SHOWCASE 

  • Inspired by A24, presented by 2025 Crowd Favorite, Santiago El Amor Wylde.

  •  Think high art, low sanity. Very cinematic, slow burn, gorgeous but unhinged. Not limited to specific movies, just the elevated horror vibe!

Rhinestone Rodeo LATE SHOWCASE

  • Presented by 2025 Most Dazzling, Enzo Benzo 

  • Think everything chrome, everything metallic – anything that reflects! All things the Renaissance world tour, but with an extra-Texas spin! We can’t wait to see everyone’s outfits.

SATURDAY

Competition Showcases will take place at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center in Denton

Court of Kings, featuring Pressure K

Our annual drag king-centric competition showcase, this is an open-theme showcase where competitors bring their signature, best works. 

This showcase is in partnership with Texas’ longest-running king-centric performance troupe, Mustache Envy. Competitors will be looking to win one of the following titles:

    • Winning Titles: 

      • King of the Court(1st)

      • Duke of Dukes (2nd)

      • Prince of Tease (3rd)

Court of Sizzle, featuring Jeez Loueez

  • Our annual burlesque-centric competition showcase. This showcase is a burlesque/queerlesque/boylesque showcase. Competitors will be looking to win one of the following titles:

      • Winning Titles: 

        • Sovereign of Sizzle (1st)

        • Liege of Lust (2nd)

        • Princess of Tease (3rd)

SUNDAY

Sunday’s showcase is a drag king brunch in partnership with Buck Wylde’s Sausage Party

We are rounding out the weekend with a special collaborative showcase in partnership with Buck Wylde's Sausage Party, an all-drag king affair back at Anderson Distillery. Bring your best and let's party together one last time.

Enjoy our festival pre-party show at Dan’s Silverleaf for the annual Travel Fund Show, featuring an all-FemmeFest staff cast! Enjoy raffles, performances and the chance to connect with local entertainers as well as folks from all over!

Free entry with FemmeFest weekend pass.
$10 for non-pass holders. $10 entry payable at the door or online.
This is a 21 and up show.
