The Benefits
Participating artists receive the following benefits at FemmeFest '26:
$50.00 stipend received upon check-in to the festival.
Weekend access to FemmeFest '26
A Plus One for the night of your performance
100% of all cash and electronic tips earned during performances
Access to backstage green room area and amenities such as snacks, drinks and sponsor goodies.
Cast members will also have priority opportunity to submit a workshop topic to be featured as an educator during the festival.

Competition Showcases
Saturday, September 12 at Patterson Appleton Arts Center
Court of Kings, featuring Pressure K
Our annual drag king-centric competition showcase
This is an open-theme showcase where competitors bring their signature, best works.
This showcase is in partnership with Texas’ longest-running king-centric performance troupe, Mustache Envy. Current and active members of Mustache Envy are prohibited from applying to participate in the competition showcase.
Competitors will be looking to win one of the following titles:

Court of Sizzle, featuring Jeez Loueez
Our annual burlesque-centric competition showcase.
We are looking for high-end, polished performances, signature numbers etc. Note: Drag artists may apply as well. However, all submitted applications MUST feature elements of burlesque, including: bump and grinds, a tease, a reveal, and stripping.
This showcase is a burlesque/queerlesque/boylesque showcase. Competitors will be looking to win one of the following titles:

Inspired by A24, presented by 2025 Crowd Favorite, Santiago El Amor Wylde.
Think high art, low sanity. Very cinematic, slow burn, gorgeous but unhinged. Not limited to specific movies, just the elevated horror vibe!

Presented by 2025 Most Dazzling, Enzo Benzo
Think everything chrome, everything metallic – anything that reflects! We are looking for all things the Renaissance world tour, but with an extra-Texas spin!

This year, we are excited to announce that two drag-centric showcases have been added to festival events. See you Thursday night and Sunday afternoon for drag brunch and drag bingo at Anderson Distillery.
Shimmer n' Shine
This is a non-competitive showcase and kickoff party at Anderson Distillery, with drag bingo to boot featuring drag entertainers! This is an open theme - bring your very best and to kick off the festival weekend.

Buck Wylde's Sausage Party Drag King Brunch
We are rounding out the weekend with a special collaborative showcase in partnership with Buck Wylde's Sausage Party, an all-drag king affair back at Anderson Distillery. Bring your best and let's party together one last time.
